Getting up at the crack of 6:00 was not on my agenda today. I returned from an international assignment in the wee hours this morning. The last thing on my mind this morning was to bolt outside with a camera. Then I looked out the window and saw a very dense fog and a hard frost. Off I went. No second thoughts.
One thing I've learned over the years with my photography is this: There is no going back. It won't look like this in one hour, let alone one day. Do it now. And I did. It's not close to being my best shot ever, but next week, the windmill may not even be there... it's an endangered species. So it goes....
