I love this!George's family is big into boats. This reminds me of one that George's dad used to have called "The Driftwood"Great Shot.
After I posted Sidewalk Serpent, I was wondering if Beast might keep you from clicking. :)Thanks, Jay. I always love your comments.Isn't Beast the perfect name for this little rub-a-dub-dub?
Love it : ) It's like calling a Chihuahua "Kujo" : )...reminds me too of the 'tugboat' 'man-behind-the-curtain' [think 'Wizard of Oz' here] vulnerable parts of myself that are obscured behind a thin veneer of beauty and strength...hmmmm, you may have just inspired another post, my friend....but not tonight...one post a night is enough I think...too many words dilute the words themselves...probably like I'm doing here ; ) so goodnight, my friend, thanks again for sharing such a fun photo...
p.s. Really like the Mingus quote here....perhaps that's the beauty of this medium of yours...photography forces brevity, doesn't it...You have one frame to capture "a thousand words"...verbosity has been my gift most of my adult life (sometimes for better, sometimes for worse) and not so much it's antithesis...perhaps that's why I'm drawn to your blog, you bring some balance to my 'universe' ; )Thanks, as always, for sharing...
Hi Dan : ) Referenced your site page with the "Beast" pic on it in my latest post, but for some reason was unable to copy and paste the pic over as well...the site address suffices I suppose, but if you'd like to tell me how to transfer your pic as well, I'd be happy to add it : ) Enjoy....
