Fire Brigade

You may remember from a previous post (Boston Ladder 15) that I have a soft spot in my heart for fire fighters. I shot this while on assignment in the former East Germany. This was their least serious moment in a day-long shoot, which is what I liked about it. Ya gotta love the firefighters - no matter the country. We owe them a BIG debt of gratitude.

Dan: I admire your commitment! No comment here, and that look just so ........ lonely! I have enough trouble coming up with a Blog topic on a monthly (well, almost) basis. You seem to dig down and either find, or make, a compelling photograph on a consistent, frequent basis. Keep em coming. I find motivation and meaning in all of them.

Andy, you've probably hit on the real value of the blog for me. It keeps my momentum going. I never have too much trouble being motivated, but this keeps me looking, seeing, doing, etc. I must admit, however, I have moments when I'm ready to shut it down (the blog) and try another adventure. In Oct it will be 1 year and I never dreamed I would make it that long and as consistent as I've been.

Have a good weekend, my friend.
