Graffiti Love

LoveGrafittiI recently had an appointment in a neighborhood I was not familiar with. I arrived at my appointment early, so I decided to drive around and see what I could see. This grafitti didn't strike me as vandalism. I thought it even made the lowly dandelion look good.

I "Love" it. -- and the Octopus arm weaving through there.

so awesome. I view graffiti as I do 'pop' art. It is there to be put up in the face of the public. It forces us to experience art in our daily lives. It's the commonality of it that I love. Brilliant.

It's amazing how we find beauty in the weirdest ways! There must be something wrong with us types...

It's a gift, man. Just think about the people that go through life oblivious to the beauty around them..it's got to hit them over the head.

I LOVE graffiti! I have a friend who is a painter, and she gets the majority of her inspiration from the graffiti she sees when she travels. Have you ever been to L.A.? The graffiti there will knock you off your feet! Awesome pic, Dan. You da man :)

Yes, I HAVE been to LA, Hales, and I agree! The grafitti there is amazing. I would love to see a grafitti painter in action, but I guess that's the point - they need anonymity.
