Delicate Beauty

_DSC9900_Tulip

Spring has sprung in Michigan. I love watching things come back to life this time of year. This photo reveals a world within our world. This is the inside of a tulip blossom...an explosion of color and life.

Tulips are MY FAVORITE.

I am so happy that you finally have flowers up there, it's about time!

Macros are popular. But capturing something common in a different way is creativity. And that has been well shown here.

Wow, Dan! Those colors are awesome. It's pouring here in south Georgia, and I needed something like that to brighten up my day. Thanks!

ok, this is pretty cool too...love this "world within a world" motif, D...in the "Giant and Dwarf" picture, and now here...just love this concept...not to mention your choice of perspective here...gives you this feeling of falling into this "world within a world"...

(gotta say, my favorite flower shot of yours (though this one is right up there) is still that stunning, sumptuous rendition of a rose you posted on Valentines Day, D...even the memory of it now evokes such a visceral response...right up there with the real thing...)

well, guess I'm gonna wrap up my Springtime scavenger hunt now...time to tuck in, but what a pretty note to end on : )

Thanks, D...
zzzzzzzzzzz,
H
