A Blessing and Curse

Blessing&Curse

As a photographer, having a quirky sense of vision has played in my favor over the years.  I tend to see things a bit differently than other people. That's not good or bad, just different.

As a kid, my quirky sense of vision was a curse at times. The photo above looks like a face to me - and it's an evil face.  I would have nightmares if I had seen this as a kid.

I know. I'm weird. Over the years I've learned to embrace my weirdness.  It is what it is...(-:

haha, I totally saw the face before you ever said that. --- do you see faces in clouds?

Oh, yeah! I see faces there, too, Jay. I see faces in other weird places, too, like fire hydrants and parking meters...anything with a lot of dials, buttons, or rivets.

Dan, I used to see faces around when I was a little girl, and it has improved my imagination, so I admire those who can see beyond limits, in all senses
A big hidden hug.

I see what you mean, Dan, but I think it kinda looks like a nice face :) LOL!
That weird eye makes beautiful art! Embrace it! You're great!

ChicGeek,
I'm not surprised that you think it's a nice face -- as you are the most POSITIVE person I know. I admire that! It's a wonderful quality.

Haha, I play that game with my mom all the time, Dan! We see faces in tons of things, especially cars. At least you have other weirdos who can share in your weirdness :) Embrace it!

cool pic.

is that a picture of a barn?

i can't think of any other buildings that would have a door that high.

Good to hear from you, George! Yes, it is a barn...albeit a small one. More like a large out-building. The odd thing about it is the "door" that you speak of is quite high off the ground - 10-15 ft. Perhaps it's a door to a hay loft or some such thing. Hope your training is going well.

It reminded me of the tin man right away and I thought it looked happy too :O) I love to sit and watch the clouds on sunny days. It is fun to do with kids also. They come up with the most unusual descriptions. It is good for the imagination. Have a good one!
